Meet Jose Luis Cordo
Jose Luis Cordo is a licensed and bonded public insurance adjuster with over twenty years of experience assisting policyholders in the State of Florida. As an Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA), Cordo has represented thousands of policyholders during the claim process. His steadfast dedication to the public adjusting field has helped thousands of homeowners and business owners recover millions in money owed to them for claims filed. In addition to residences and condominiums, Cordo has served as a public adjuster for non-profits, religious institutions, marine vessels, and businesses, including but not limited to retail and large loss claims. Aside from these types of claims, Cordo’s extensive knowledge and experience led him to also assist policyholders during catastrophes such as Hurricane Ike in Texas and during the devastating tornados in North Carolina. In Florida, he diligently worked Hurricane Wilma, Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Michael claims, helping hundreds of policyholders recover millions of dollars.
As a certified appraiser and umpire, Cordo’s certifications include Windstorm Insurance Network Appraiser (WIND), Windstorm Insurance Network Umpire (WIND), Certified Property Appraiser and Umpire (CPAU), Certified Property Insurance Appraiser (CPIA), Certified Property Insurance Umpire (CPIU), and OSHA. In this capacity, Cordo has served policyholders as an uninterested third party by providing quick, less adversarial resolutions to claims that are not initially settled for other public adjusters and attorneys.
Jose Luis Cordo is an active member of Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA), Insurance Appraisal and Umpire Association, Inc. (IAUA), Windstorm Insurance Network (WIND), and Palmetto Bay Business Association (PBBA).
Cordo is proficient in Xactimate, is fluent in Spanish, and an expert when it comes to negotiation. He maintains his Florida license active and in good standing and is here to serve all policyholders alike.
